How long will it take to detail my car?

A Car takes 4 hours.  A van or SUV up to 5 hours.

What kind of wax is the best?

There are different waxes that need to be applied for individual situations and elements your car may face. Mr. Detail will make the call.

How long is wax good for?

Waxes should last for 4 to 6 months for ultimate protection.

Is wax or Teflon better?

Depends on the way you care for your car.  Teflon is great for the person who doesn’t wax their car on a regular basis.  Teflon seals and protects your car for a year.  Waxing regularly (4 times a year) is just as effective.

Can you remove scratches from my cars paint?

Most times we can. If you can catch your fingernail in the scratch, it's most likely too deep!

What do you do to the deep scratches you can’t remove?

Your first option is to do our Wet Sanding Package.  If that does not work for you, we can have the painting and bodywork done for you. (Prices on individual basis).

Can you get all the stains out of my interior?

Stains that have been in a real long time or coffee and juice stains might not come out.

How do you remove odors from interiors?

Besides heavily cleaning your interior, we can also use enzymes to go after the organic materials and for the real bad cases we have an ozone machine.

How often should I clean my engine?

Once a year and maybe more if mechanical work has been done to your engine compartment.

Can the water or steam cause problems to the engine’s electrical system?

Rarely it can cause some problem with an electrical component.  We just have covers to make sure the engine is dry, and distributor caps and some connections are protected.
